On January 6, 2021, following the certification of the Electoral College results confirming Joe Biden won the 2020 election, hundreds of POTUS 45 supporters swarmed the White House in a violent riot.
Several people were killed, including a police officer.
Shortly after being re-elected, many of the participants in the attempted coup, who had previously convicted and sentenced for their crimes, received presidential pardons from POTUS 45.
